Exodus Scores World First Heroic Achievement - The guild Exodus of US Ysondre has earned the world first Heroic: Alone in the Darkness achievement. This achievement requires you to defeat Yogg-Saron without the assistance of any of the Keepers which was previously considered mathematically impossible. A big congrats to Exodus on this one! **EDIT:As it turns out the guild used some in-game exploits to get this one...Blizz has punished them accordingly and stirred up all kinds of controversy.** Mimiron Hard Mode Nerfed - Hard mode Mimiron received some nerfs this week via hotfix. The array of nerfs seem to be pretty broad and there seem to be mixed feelings in the community as to whether or not the nerfs were justified (as usual). • Faction Change Service in the Works - Ummm...Oh my
  God...are you kidding me? Wow, I am really taken aback by this one. Blizzard
  poster Nethaera has revealed that the WoW dev team is working to implement a new
  service which will allow players to change their faction from Horde to Alliance

• Order BlizzCon Live Stream - Missed out on BlizzCon
  tickets? Don't have Direct TV? No problem! As of a few days ago the page had
  appeared to order up the official livestream in HD video straight from the

• Some Impressive Machinima - I must say that the
  machinima video Wrought created by Cranius and Legs is exciting and
  gut-wrenching. As the story goes, a Human Warrior and a Blood Elf woman fall in
  love, a love which is forbidden by the Sindorei. The Blood Elves attack and
  imprison the woman and the Warrior is killed in an ambush only to return as
  Forsaken. When he returns and learns that his lover is being held captive he
  flies to her rescue. This movie does an amazing job of telling a story of
  forbidden love using in-game characters and scenery and the music is all too
  fitting! I loved it...I had goosebumps!
• Patch 3.2 BoP Items Tradeable - It has been
  discovered on the PTR that there are items in the game which are Bind on Pickup
  that will be eligible for trade with other players for a limited amount of time.
  There are of course restrictions, such as the items can only be traded with
  members of your raid who participated in the kill and were, therefore, eligible
  to loot the item to begin with. There is also a time limit of 2 hours for being
  able to trade these items. Players who go to gem or enchant the item within the
  two hour time frame will get a final confirmation before doing so as the item is
  no longer tradeable after it has been modified. I'm not sure why this was done,
  but my guess is that it will lower the number of GM petitions each day pretty
  considerably.
• New Holiday Coming in 3.2 - So we have told you
  about lots of cool new 3.2 stuff over the past week and keeping with that we now
  know there will be a new holiday arriving with it too! It will be called
  Pilgrim's Bounty and will be modeled after (what else?) Thanksgiving. The
  achievements for this holiday will mostly revolve around food, and if you do
  them all, you will receive the "Pilgrim" title and a Turkey pet! There will also
  be new cooking recipes, side achievements and daily quests.
• Comic Corner - So here are this week's comics that
  made me chuckle. The first is from Dark Legacy
  Comics and it has got to be one of the funniest I have seen from them! Next
  up is NPC...man I love this chick and her cute little kitties! There are two
  from her this week that tickled my funny bone first is Kitty Names Revealed and next is Perspective which just shows us how little non-wow-players
  understand (eye roll) lol! The third one for the week is from NoObz and it touches a bit on the appearance changing
  available in the game...sometimes it's just better to leave well enough alone.
  Last, but surely not least is from GU Comics and is called More Fire
  Catching. This comic refers to the daily torch-catching quest associated
  with the Midsummer Fire Festival...I was amused by the comic itself, but was
  even more amused after reading the author's comments directly under it! Enjoy!
• New Character Profiler on Wowhead - Wowhead has
  been developing it's profiler system for more than two years now and it is finally
  available! Wowhead's profiler has pretty much every feature you could want from
  a profiling site including an Armory import, 3D character view, gear sets, gear
  scores, upgrade search - it's all there. You can save your characters however
  you want, link them to your friends, check pugs, and so forth. The site is easy
  and quite nice to use once you get everything all synced up...that takes some
  time from all the traffic they're getting at the moment, but be patient...it's
