No 3.3 For You! - At least not this week. Blizzard poster, Zarhym confirmed that 3.3 will NOT be dropping this week in a post made Monday on the forums. So, the speculation continues on when exactly the patch will be released. While I am anxious to dig in to all of the new content...I prefer it to be as bug free as possible so I will wait...patiently. My money is on the 15th, but again I am no expert... WoW 5th Anniversary Celebrated - Not only did Blizzard kick off a whole new site to celebrate WoW's fifth anniversary, they also threw a humungo party for their employees! There was plenty of free food, beer and motivational speaking to go around! Tamara Chuang (aka The Gadgetress) from The Orange County Register was invited over to report on the event. • Character Model Revisions to come in Cataclysm? -
  In a recent interview J. Allen Brack touched on the subject of character model
  changes and when/if we might be seeing them. Now we all know that many players
  have been expressing their discontent with the pre-BC character models since
  they aren't as "pretty" as the Blood Elves and Draenei and others like the old
  school models and claim that they are part of the character of the game. See what J. Allen

• The9's Split With Blizzard Proves Costly - The9,
  the company formerly responsible for the distribution of WoW in China has
  reported a 94% drop in revenue when compared to this time last year. Although
  executive are downplaying the loss stating that they have noticed significant
  growth in their other licencing venues, the impact of losing the WoW publishing
  rights to Netease back in June is more than apparent. Now, WoW is currently in a
  power struggle with more than one Chineese government agency, which means the
  game is under suspension at the moment until all the kiks get ironed out.

• New Panderen Brewmaster Figure - In case you have
  an extra $50 lying around that you weren't sure what to do with this holiday

  The Blizzard store received an addition this week in the form of a Pandaren Brewmaster Figure. The figure is of Chen Stormstout
  and measures an impressive 8 inches tall and weighs more than 4 pounds. These
  figures are usualy of pretty high quality and the detail on this one is eqally
  impressive. Will make a good collector's piece for those interested.

• New Kirin Tor Rings in 3.3 - In a statement that
  really wasn't a surprise to anyone, Bornakk confirmed that players will see a new set of Kirin Tor rings
  with the arrival of 3.3. The new rings will be item level 251 which will be a
  significant upgrade for anyone still using the item level 226 ring that was
  introduced along with Ulduar. The ring upgrades are, as usual, pretty pricey
  which is again no big surprise!
